How to get rid of Lavasoft Adaware & co.?
It is apparently a"web component" so olease how can I find it and ditch it?

Doesn't it appear in the control panel program list where you can uninstall it ?

Well I had a better look and so it did appear under a title "Web Companion". I uninstalled it but i do not trust them to have behaved honourably. We shall see. Thanks Claude.
