Notification of update/edit/change to posts?

Post by ChrisGreaves »

I receive an email notification whenever a new post is added to a topic to which I am subscribed.
Is it possible to receive a notification to posts in that topic when any post id Updated/Edit/Changed in any way?
Thanks, Chris

I don't see a check box for that option...
Best wishes,

Thanks Hans. And me neither. I had hoped that there might be a hidden setting "ChrisGreaves'sSwitch" or similar ...
Thanks again
Chris

Have you tried the bookmark option?
If it wasn't for bad luck I'd have NO luck at all.

No.
How would I use it to monitor changes in posts in real-time?
Thanks, Chris

I have never tried bookmarks either. I visited a few posts that I have never used or accessed, clicked the spanner and everyone was like in my image.

Bookmarking a topic means that it will be listed in your user profile, and you'll receive notifications of new replies.
But you won't get a notification when someone edits a post or reply.
Best wishes,
Hans

Hans, thanks for this conformation. One of my first clues was that I couldn't recall hearing from anyone who complained about NOT receiving notification of edits!
Cheers, Chris
