When I looked in the Cookies section of Ccleaner, it only shows as eileen'slounge.com. Most start with WWW.etc could this be the cause of failed mail notification.

We have had some recent failures of digest emails as they were seen as SPAM by the receiving mail servers.

It is highly unlikely. Many, if not most, sites define site-name.com and www.site-name.com to be the same. The part of the address before the site name just refers to a section of the site. It could be mail, support, junk, or whatever the site owner has designed. It is then part of the site registration with the domain name service selected by the site owner.
