search for hyphenated string

I saved a page which I believe is/was from Eileen's Lounge:-

The date stamp suggests that I was saving web pages related to Win20 issues for future reading - which reading I am doing now.

I have tried searching for

Code: Select all

"uh-oh" without quotes, 
"uh-oh" with quotes, 
uh* oh*

all to no avail.
I suppose that after this post has been indexed, it should be found on a search for the string "uh-oh", regardless of my initial target, but how can I tell the search function to match the exact string of five characters.

(I suspect that the answer will be "use Google Search with a site: parameter)

I am rapidly losing faith in the Lounge's search facility.

Grrrrrrr!

OK, but really, it seems as if the search engine treats a soft hyphen as a space character so that "uh-oh" is taken as two words of two characters each.
