Re: Logging In and Not Being Recognized
I'm using Pale Moon and I have had issues with my login in details being rejected. This morning I had to create a new password beofre I could log in.

Re: Logging In and Not Being Recognized
Not sure about anything but just wanted to report that today this site did not log me out and I have visited at least 3 times so far. Will report again later.

Re: Logging In and Not Being Recognized
Just reporting back. Though I have had to login twice a couple times in the last day or so, I have not had any problems like I mentioned above where I am logged out when trying to post. I have been copying my posts before trying to submit them, just in case.

Re: Logging In and Not Being Recognized
I guess it had nothing to do with me switching email notifications just like Hans said then. I will continue to copy my text before hitting the submit button then for sure.

Re: Logging In and Not Being Recognized
Not sure this is of any help but I did notice something today when this site required me to log in twice. When I click in the space where it asks for my userid, if it comes up with my userid on its own, I click on that and then I enter my password, I only have to log in once. If it does not automatically display my userid and I have to manually enter it and then my password it will not log me in.

Re: Logging In and Not Being Recognized
Not sure if this is new to you but it seems having to log in twice is happening more often. Just thought I'd let you know.

Re: Logging In and Not Being Recognized
Just trying to help with what I am seeing happening and it's not a big problem just want you to know what I have been seeing for some time now.
If I get an email telling me there has been a reply to any topic I am subscribed to, I click that link, it recognizes my user name and after supplying my password I am logged in with no problem. However, if I try to log into here to, say start a new topic without clicking any email link, it does not recognize my user name and I have to log in a second time on which it does display my user name.
So if my user name is displayed when I click in that field it only takes 1 login; but if it isn't displayed, it takes 2 logins.
Not sure if any of this is helpful but wanted to let you know.

Re: Logging In and Not Being Recognized
Well something interesting just happened, at least I think it is interesting. I tried to log in here and I typed my password wrong. Thinking it didn't matter since it was the first attempt to log in I hit the button to sign in. It recognized that my password was wrong so I typed everything over and tried to log in again and it wouldn't let me, which is normal for the first attempt but this actually was the second attempt. After doing it again for the second time, actually the third in this instance. I was logged in. So what I think was interesting, even though it recognized I made a mistake typing my password, it still would not log me in until I did it two more times. Not sure if any of this helps but thought you may be interested.
