Report total incorrect

Post by Leesha »

Hi!
I'm uploading a stripped down version of a database that has a final row of totals. All totals are correct with the exception of the one I'm highlighted in yellow. I'm not sure what the issue is.
Thanks,
Leesha

The total time is 25:45. This is more than 24 hours, but unlike Excel, Access does not have a format for accumulated time. The time is displayed as clock time 01:45.

The easiest workaround is to multiply the sum by 24 (the number of hours in a day) and format it as a number with 1 or 2 decimals. This displays the time as decimal hours, for example 25:45 will be displayed as 25.75.

If you want to display 25:45, you'd need rather complicated formulas.
Best wishes,
Hans
