Chrome Tab Icon

Post by Graeme »

Anyone know where the Chrome Tab Icon comes from?

In the image below, Eileen is on the tab for the lounge, there's a blue bird on the Twitter tab and the new multicoloured M on the Gmail tab. On the SkySearchers.com tab there's a generic icon of some sort.

Can an icon be added from somewhere in Chrome? Is it doable with a phpBB Extension? Or do I need to look elsewhere?

They are so-called favicons. Websites can specify an image to be used as icon in the browser tab (and in the bookmarks bar/menu).

Perhaps you can use one of these extensions
Best wishes,
Hans
