On the plus side, you'll never need to open the garage door again since the car will now slip under it with no bother at all.

Spoiler
It's not a real car. It was part of an advertising campaign in Milan, Italy in 2010, with motto 'Il futuro sta arrivando' (The future is coming).

I thought it was the Bat Mobile.

I also thought initially it was the Bat Mobile, but then after this..

.. I thought maybe it was to keep transport cost down, and a well planned idea to offset the large amount of new cars which seem to cram a lot of showrooms , or parked hidden out in fields. –Maybe the idea was that you get a dried out car “off the shelf” as it were, and you just have to add water and other liquids to it..
Or maybe it is vacuum packed, like the way you can with clothes to reduce space in the wardrobe, same basic idea https://imgur.com/nPuhMPc" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
.(....Edit.. I wonder if there is a Patent on that idea... )

I thought it was the result of bad photograph-stitching by Microsoft StreetView!
