iPhone 4s Problem

Post by BobH »

My iPhone 4s has started ringing once then going to a busy signal (or so I'm told). I don't know how or why this happening. In looking around at settings, I can find nothing that references this. Also, searching on the Internet fails to turn up anything.

Can any of you iPhone mavens tell me what to check to fix this?

 :chocciebar: :thankyou:

Look at the top left, next to the battery icon. Do you see a half moon? If so, 'Do not disturb' has probably been turned on. You can turn it off in Settings.
Best wishes,
Hans

Thank you, Hans!

The first thing I checked was the Do Not Disturb setting because I've run afoul of it before. Alas, that is not the culprit this time.

Let's see if one of our iPhone users has a better suggestion...

Does a reboot not fix the issue? (I know it sounds cliche....but..)
Press and hold the Home button (big circle below the screen) and the Sleep/Wake button (on top of the iPhone) simultaneously. Slide to switch off.

Another thing that you could check is if you have call barring activated?
