I recall originally using my outlook email and password to set up Windows 10/ Microsoft Account .
I also have an account in the Microsoft Community ... does this password have to be the same? If I change it will this also effect my Windows/Outlook or are they separate identities?

Re: Microsoft Password
Your log in to Microsoft Community with your email account. In other words, your email password is also the password for Microsoft Community (and all other Microsoft services)
Best wishes,

Re: Microsoft Password
Thanks Hans.
Some time ago I am sure that the password for my 'Community' account was not the same as my email password ... perhaps this changed when Windows 10 was introduced. No problem ... I now have the solution
