Thanks, Rudi, many useful tips there - especially for users upgrading from Windows 7 or earlier (or first-time users).
It's a pity that several settings require changing a registry value. It would have been better if they were accessible from the interface.

That is interesting to note.
Maybe a good Windows 10 tweaker app (freeware of course ) can help to avoid the registry. I must look out for one.
PS: I like to option to "blur" the background instead of make it transparent.
