This might seem a foolish question, but this report of malware being included in flashlight apps mentions checking the size of any flashlight app you might have installed.
I searched for information that would tell me how to determine the number of bytes in iPhone apps but found nothing relevant.

Settings > General > Usage > Manage_Storage > This_iPhone got me to the list of apps with their sizes on my wife's phone which is on IOS 8n.
The settings on the web page got me to the information on my older iPhone
