My computer just recovered from a crash. Upon restart, Windows displayed a message stating that there was a "Driver Power State Failure."
About 3 hours prior to the crash, my computer unexpectedly and without warning shut down, even though it was connected to power and had a full battery.
What might be happening and how concerned should I be?

If you Google "driver power state failure windows 8", there are several pages of results containing articles with possible causes and possible solutions. Have you looked at any of these?
