Bluetooth Disappeared

Post by BobH »

I use a battery powered Bluetooth mouse. Just a bit ago, the batteries died and I replaced them. Now the mouse is not working, ie, it's not showing a cursor onscreen. In looking about, I discovered that none of my BT devices were working. I looked in Settings for a means to turn BT on and off and found nothing.

In the past (I think) I could display hidden icons and see the BT symbol. Now, displaying hidden icons does not display it.

Is there any other way I can discover whether or not the Bluetooth function is on and working in my Windows 11 system?

:thankyou:

Select Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices. If the slider is set to Off, slide it to the right to turn Bluetooth on.

Thanks, Hans. I was not presented the Bluetooth slider which is what perplexed me. I turned the laptop off overnight an was able to see the slider and turn it on this morning.
