Beautiful Ken, beautiful. I miss the ones Billie and I used to keep along one edge of our yard a long time ago. Along another edge we had forsythia and a very colorful place to sit. Thanks for sharing.

The thing I particularly like about this variety is it a deeper shade than a 'normal' lilac and the individual flowers are fringed with white.

I did notice that white border, Ken, and it's been so long ago that I couldn't remember if I've ever seen any like that. Beautiful nonetheless!

A beautiful pic of your lilac. I can almost smell the fragrance!
Is this a new variety or an "old standard". I'm not sure how to differentiate between them but so many of our flowers are hybrids now. Yours is lovely indeed!
