must be a left hand / right hand thing

Post by stuck »

I used the UK NHS website to book my vaccine booster jab weeks ago and had the jab about two weeks ago.

Today I got an email from the NHS encouraging me to book my booster jab.

:sigh:

Well, was that the Booster #1 and it is time for #3 or is it up to #9 now?

Here in the US the medical companies are coming out with more boosters so their income will still increase.

We have gotten the J&J version and have NOT seen any boosters from them for their vaccine.
But, their competitors are saying that their (the competitors) booster will work with the J&J

Ignoring the commercial slant of your post.

I had the choice of whether or not to be vaccinated but I had no choice of which vaccine I was given. Same was true for the rest of my family and as far as I know, the entire UK population. In my family I think we've covered all of the versions in use in the UK (Pfizer/Biontec, Astra Zenica and Moderna). All of those are designed as double dose vaccines so we all had two jabs of one type as our primary vaccine. Some of us had the same again as our booster, others had something different.

I know the J&J version is designed as a single dose vaccine but I don't know why that is so I can't comment further.
