Bach's music lends itself especially well to this approach. And as someone remarked in one of the comments - time to read Goedel, Escher, Bach again...

J.S. Bach 2 and 3 Part Inventions, Fugues and Chorales were a major part of my piano repertoire. Another neat link Well Tempered Clavier
