They might as well have done so.

Got my email today telling me that my "free subscription to the paid version" of WS had expired. Wonder how long it will be before I get another free one?

Got the same notice. Didn't renew. Not holding my breath for another freebie, nor do I want one.

I haven't received any notice, but I think I still had some time left on my paid subscription when the free extension was added. Tho' my understanding is that access to the lounge portion of WS will remain part of the free subscription.

Also received another email from WSL ( which I didn't save ) saying something to the effect that after their Amazon server crashed, the notice of expiration went out mistakenly to Admins, Mods and VIPs. It was wrong, so they said, and all free subscriptions to these people are automatically extended. :burga:

I got the previous one saying my free sub had ended, but not the new one saying it had been extended.
