I have not been there before as I rarely get out to the Point. But it does look spectacular.
I'll work through the menus and see if they have beef or pasta and can consider a trip out that side if they do :)
I do not have a fishy palate.

They specialize in seafood, so it may not be ideal for you, Rudi. (Meat dishes at seafood restaurants are usually an afterthought...)

I stay 25 km outside of Cape Town, and Cape Town is 69 km from Cape Point. So that makes it 94 km in total and would take about 1h:30min to get there based on traffic and the route I'd travel. I'll leave the conversions into miles for you to do.
