Serendripity

Post by ChrisGreaves »

So, last night I curled up in bed with a jar of Candied Orange Peel to watch "The Mission", set in the South American jungle with Robert de Niro and the occasional tropical downpour.
Cue a series of Thunderstorms that seemed to last right through the night.
It got so bad that I clicked the pause button each time I saw the flash, because the thunder was drowning out the dialogue.
Then came the rain.
Right on cue with one of the downpours in the movie.

It was eerie to be surrounded by the sound of a real downpour complementing the sound coming from the TV.
Eerier still to quieten the sound from the TV while listening to the real downpour and waiting for the rumble, in a manner of speaking, to clear!

Needless to say I shall steer clear of Candied Orange Peel in bed from now on! I'm not stupid!!

In such circumstances, Chris, just be grateful you're watching Robert de Nero and not Anthony Perkins and Janet Leigh...

Sod that for a game of marbles.
I'm happier that I wasn't Bill Murray.

So would rice explode if collided in the Hadron? Maybe revealing the secrets of the universe?
