I picked this up for a dollar at the annual book sale at St Andrews Church this lunchtime.

To put things in perspective, I started at high school in 1959.

For example, now I see where the bulk of our programming bugs/errors come from.
We have made our programs too bulky!
I mean, how can you have lots of errors when the payroll program is only 19 words of memory?

That's the trouble with new fangled science, it's all new and fangled.

In contrast, this afternoon stuckling2 was looking through some old books that belonged to his grandfather. He came across one on calculus. The cover was dull, the pages were yellowed with age but the maths was just the same as the stuff he will be examined on in a few weeks time.
