Okay here goes a try for a puzzle

Post by Skitterbug »

Can you guess what this is and where it is located?

It isn't complicated. It reminds me of the hidden pictures in many of the kids' magazines. :yep: Sort of......except it is part of a pic, not the whole thing!

It's a bare stick, previously a small tree, grazed by a deer, from your 'back yard'?

Well - yes and no.... it isn't a "stick" but it is in our "back yard". Perhaps instead of saying "where is it located", I should have said, "what type of foliage is the creature in question hiding in"? I was amused when I snapped this pic!

I think maybe a clue is in order. :yep:
One item is furry and a bane to gardeners and the foliage is green and growing and something that lots of cooks/chefs use!

:nope: A nuisance indeed!
This nuisance lives above ground most of the time but yes, it's been known to hide in holes occasionally!

Sorry Tony & Samantha - it's not a gopher and it's not eating a rosebush or basil!

It could be that even though I think this fuzzy fellow is a nuisance, some people might enjoy it for a pet! It does have an odd choice for food however! At least this one did! :yep: However, he probably wasn't eating this garden plant when I spotted him, he was just hiding in it.

Okay....another hint - and if this one doesn't do it - it won't be "priceless", only "hopless!" <sp intended> Elmer Fudd will be thinking it is really "hopless" indeed!

Good one Samantha! I don't have any choccie bars in the house! I reckon a couple of :clapping: :clapping: will have to do for now! Hope that's okay?
I'll finish it off by posting the pic of the little rascal. He's hiding in my hubby's onion patch which I thought was really unusual for a rabbit! Usually, one thinks of carrots, lettuce or cabbages as favorite foods for rabbits.

I wish I could take credit for the proper guess, but the applause goes to Hans, who beat me to the post.
