Does anyone have any experience with Gargoyle?
I have been reading up on it and it seems there are many references to it providing more stability (to prevent the router from dropping WiFi). Besides that, it also provides a scheduled reboot of the router at a specific interval that the default firmware does not provide. Having read the good reports I decided to give it a try, so I downloaded it and flashed my router with the firmware. Once done, I could access the firmware page through my browser and I modified all the settings to mimic the settings I had, however, I just could not get access to the internet. No matter what I did... After 2 hours of "playing" around with settings to try get this to work, I was forced to go back to the default firmware, which is working without issue.
If anyone has experience with it, please be so kind as to share your knowledge so I might be informed to why I could not get internet connection.
