I periodically check their web to see if there's anything new and I see there is a release candidate 6 of Open Office 3.3 available at OpenOffice.org - Download Release Candidates
There's a link for the changes at OpenOffice.org 3.3 New Features.
I would never recommend a release candidate for a "production" environment, but since mine is a personal use only machine, I'm gonna give 3.3 a try. I also still have my downloaded copy of 3.2.1 so I can recover if there's a problem.

Re: Open Office 3.3 RC
I installed it without incident as usual. My only complaint ever is that they open an "extract" folder on the desktop and don't remove it when the installation is done.
I opened a couple of documents and a couple of spreadsheets and messed around a little and didn't have any problems.
Once again, I wouldn't recommend a RC if your business depends on producing, but for a "personal" user, it seems to be OK.
