Sibelius hardware requirements

Post by stuck »

Does anyone have any real world experience (as opposed to the vendor statement, which I've already read) of the minimum hardware needed to run Sibelius at a usable speed?

Thanks,

Ken

It may not help you much but the son of a friend of mine runs it on a mid-range Dell Studio 1555 from about 15 months ago without problems...

My son has been running Sibelius on a mid range PC for years. There has always been plenty of memory, but nothing special in terms of CPU power.

Thanks,

The laptop in question is an HP with 1.5GHz Celeron CPU and 512Mb RAM. I suspect it will be OK as is but would undoubtedly benefit from more RAM. Time to point it at Crucial's website to find out what it can take.
