The latest version of VDownloader (when downloaded from http://vdownloader.com/ version 4.0), downloads a packaged EXE file of approx. 500KB's. When you double click on this file it will start the installation wizard. Two steps during the wizard provide the option for Recommended or Custom Install. It is IMPORTANT to select CUSTOM install and then unselect the option for additional software.
I am surprised that this new packaged wizard only has these two attempts at installing junkware since the versions prior to this had a minimun of 5 attempts to install junkware!
