There was an entry recently on Woody's 'askwoody' blog in which Avira was cited as Not Good Thing because of pop-ups. At the time I didn't follow what al the fuss was about but having just installed the latest Avira Free I now see. The attached is the second varient I've seen in as many days.
I've worked out that it is prompted by a process running from avnotify.exe.
Does anyone know if the world would end if I were to simply rename this exe so that it can't be invoked and thus irritate me?
