Yes, it's a bona fide way to hide your internet use - see Tor (anonymity network).

Of course, such tools can be used for both good and evil purposes...

Here's a video giving some information about tor Dave, I personally only use VPN's so can't really comment on tor.

Claude..........what does the achronym VPN stand for? And seeing you use only them -assuming the apostrophe ('s) implies plurality - should other loungers be using them? Regards Dave.
