Hello.
I've posted this here as I use FF, but does someone know how to disable the previewing feature in Google? (screenshot)
I apologise for the poor quality of my arrow but my old version of FastStone Capture isn't working (maybe it's incompatible with W7 64 bit(?)) and I was reduced to trying the Snipping Tool and Paint.
Andy.

Re: Disable Google preview
If you have GreaseMonkey, you can use Google preview killer or Hide Google Instant Previews (there are probably more scripts with a similar function).
Best wishes,

Re: Disable Google preview
By the way, the current version of FastStone Capture (7.0) works very well in 64-bit Windows 7; support for 64-bit was introduced in version 6.1.
In my opinion, the paid version is well worth its modest price ($ 19.95 / £ 12.50 / € 14.30 for a lifetime license).

Morning Hans.
I'm reluctant to install GreaseMonkey just for this option, so I shall continue to try and favour the left-hand side with my mouse, ta.
I was fond of FastStone Capture, but I'm a keen explorer of free alternatives. Just installed, and loving , PicPick. I was even considering allowing it to start-up automatically

Re: Disable Google preview
Unfortunately, Google doesn't offer a way to turn off instant preview in its search options, unlike instant search (show results while you type in the search box), which can be turned on and off.
Best wishes,
Hans
