really bad response time

Over the last week I have had terrible response time. A lot of timeouts where firefox cannot find a server.

I am running winxp - completely up to date, the latest firefox, and have a dsl line.

Are there any good utilities I can run in the background to see what is going on?

I am also suspicious of ad block plus.

Could also be a ISP issue, What kind of error messages are you getting?

spent time with isp tech support this pm - they are sending out a tech tomorrow(sat)
