IE 9 is really a leading browser on several technology areas. Sorry to link to Ed Bott again, but I think his recent article comparing how IE 9 and Chrome handle malware is really interesting.

Interesting article, Ted. Thanks. I actually got an email recently that popped up a similar virus scam when I simply opened the email, which had a friend's email address. Since I run security software, I didn't believe the message, but I did have to use task manager to kill the popup. I may have to rethink using Chrome to view my emails and try IE 9 instead. I've used Chrome only to view gmail since IE8.
