There is this new "New Tab page" feature in IE9 which looks interesting. But accessing it seems to be a bit of a mystery. The only thing I could find at present to access it is to type: about:tabs in the Address Bar.
Does anyone know of an easier/another way to access the "New Tab page"?

You can make it your home page. Or open a new tab and add it to your Favorites. Or create a shortcut for it.

Or simply click the New Tab button or press Ctrl+T on the keyboard...
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

That would be nice.... but it doesn't work for me. I'm guessing, but I think you have to make the "New Tab page" either your first (if you have more than one page saved as a homepage) or your only homepage for that to work. For example, I have "Google" listed as the first homepage out of 3.HansV wrote:Or simply click the New Tab button or press Ctrl+T on the keyboard...
The longer way around this is to choose to display the "Command Bar", then click on the dropdown menu for "Home" and then click on the "New Tab" item, which is the "New Tab page" in my case which I added to my Homepage list.

Your home page can be different from what happens when you open a new tab.
Check your settings at Tools | Internet Options | General (tab) | Settings (button in the Tab section) | "When a new tab is opened open (in the center of the form).
