This is a question about Google searching; don't know where best to put it 'cos it applies to all browsers.
There used to be a facility within Google that, having put in your search criteria and got the results back, you could then 'Search within results'. This allowed very rapid homing in on the pages you really wanted.
This facility is now missing off my Google results page, so my questions are :
has it really gone or am I not looking in the right place?
if it's gone, is there another way to provide the equivalent function?
Thanks

Re: Search within results
See Google Drops "Search Within Results" Link - and if you want to recover the 'second' search box at the bottom of the page: The Second Search Box at Google Goes Missing

Thanks for that, but what's "Google Classic" and how do I get it? I wasn't aware I was using Google Instant!Leif wrote:See Google Drops "Search Within Results" Link - and if you want to recover the 'second' search box at the bottom of the page: The Second Search Box at Google Goes Missing

Re: Search within results
As per the second link, after you have made an initial search, the option is available on the right of the search field:
(This option does appear to stick.)You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
