Re: Split first part using Evaluate
Interesting. I get Double in 2016 Pro Plus, like older versions.
Hans, do you still have to array-enter array formulas in 2019 (I mean ones that return a single value rather than the fancy new spilling)?

along those same lines ... Hans, ( and rory ) , if you type in the first cell
=C3:D4
( without doing CSE, what do you get ? ) ( I get error, as I expect. I might take a guess that yous ( in 2019 ) don’t get an error.)

Re: Split first part using Evaluate
Yes - the non-365 version that I have doesn't get any feature updates, only security updates. So I still have to use Ctrl+Shift+Enter.rory wrote:Hans, do you still have to array-enter array formulas in 2019 (I mean ones that return a single value rather than the fancy new spilling)?
Best wishes,

Re: Split first part using Evaluate
Interesting. So it looks somewhat like they have implemented the assumed array feature in the Evaluate method but not in the UI.

Another mixed up mess of incompatibilities. Chuck it all in the bin with Windows 10.
Get Vista and Office 2010 and stay stable.

Hmm, this is not the forum to discuss the relative merits of Windows versions, but I prefer Windows 10 above Windows Vista by far...
Best wishes,

OK, XP then , but be careful of the Office 2010 updates that keep breaking it ( http://www.eileenslounge.com/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=33872" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; , http://www.eileenslounge.com/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=31405" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; )
