Hi,
A strange one this:
FORM_~TMPCLP169771 appears under Microsoft Access Class Objects (with the forms i created) but not in the navigation pane.
If i add code to the form, the form is visible in design view but still not in the navigation pane.
If i try to delete the object with
DoCmd.DeleteObject acForm, "Form_~TMPCLP169771"
I get the Runtime Error 7874:
"Microsoft Office Access can't find the object 'Form_~TMPCLP169771'
Compact & Repair does not work either.
Your assistances are appreciated.
Thanking you
Mohamed

Re: Ghost form: FORM_~TMPCLP169771
I'd create a new database, and import all database objects from the "problem" database except ~TMPCLP169771 into the new database.
Keep the old one as backup, and work with the new one.

Access normally substitutes the "~" symbol for the first letter of an object when you delete it,which is why you can't see it in the db window. But I was under the impression in permanently deleted the object when you closed the db.MSingh wrote:Hi,
