It's kept in the registry. Where exactly depends on your version of Access.
If you have Access 2016 or later, it can be in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Access\File MRU
or in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Access\User MRU\<LiveId>\File MRU
where <LiveID> is a very long string identifying your Microsoft account.
If you have Access 2016 or later, it can be in

or in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Access\User MRU\<LiveId>\File MRU

Well I have 2007 which is 12.0. I get to 12.0/access/ and then to access connectivity or security or settings. Opening up all of them I only find information in settings. There is an other tree called Open Find with MSO Access/settings/file open and that has a hex string about 15 characters long.

Best wishes,

My apologies that I couldn't help you. I hope that someone else who still has Office 2007 knows.
Best wishes,
Hans

I looked at Excel and there is HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Excel\File MRU
Just not with Access.

Mine is at
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Access\Settings
FWIW, all I did was search for the first file on the list.

Yes that is where mine are at. If you look at the images I just clicked on settings tree without selecting settings. Worked great along with your suggestion of searching the name.
Thanks
