Hi,
I have a report that contains many subreports. I'm running into a problem where information for a subreport may start on one page and continue to the next page. I tried putting in page breaks however this won't work since depending on the time frame the report is run for, there may be little to no data, therefore a page break wasn't needed. Is there a way to set the subform to go to a new page if the entire subreport won't fit on the page its starting on. An example where this is driving me nuts is when a chart starts on one page and ends on a second page.
I hope this makes sense,
Thanks!

Re: Auto page break with subreports
A subreport doesn't have a "keep together" property, but you can simulate it by creating dummy groups in the report:
- Open the main report in design view.
- Select View | Sorting and Grouping (Access 2003 or before), or click Group and Sort in the Design tab of the ribbon (Access 2007 or later).
- Create a new group level with the expression =1, and specify that the group has a group footer (no group header) and that it should be kept together.
- Move a subreport to the group footer.
- Report for the other subreports (yes, I know it's tedious...)
MSKB article: Keeping Subreport or Text Box Data Together on a Page.
