I'm really struggling to deploy a database (created in 2007, in 2000 format), to a user who has Office 2002 and Windows 2000.
It's a very simple database, but the machine keeps asking for a logon (users name is filled & password required)
Any ideas what I can do to enable this (and other DBs) to run.
TIA
Logon requested???

No, but I think this is the only machine using W2000

Re: Logon requested???
It shouldn't really matter whether the user has Windows 2000, XP, Vista or 7.
Do you notice anything special if you right-click the database in Windows Explorer on the user's PC and select Properties?

Re: Logon requested???
Has that user worked with a Secure database, and modified the default workgroup to require a username/password?
I can't tell from your answer if the problem occurs for that user with other databases. Your answer to that question seems to be about other users of the same database.

I think it's something to do with the windws/network user profile, as another user with the same set-up does not have problems.
