If I want to search for the whole word "at" in an Access database is there a way to do it and not find all other words containing the letters at?
Thanks

You might search for the string " at " (without the surrounding quotes).

Rather than start a new thread I'll ask this here. Is there a way to get real time spell check in Access like in Word? I think it is no but thought I'd ask.

You mean that misspelled words will be underlined as you type? That is not available in Access (nor in Excel). You have to invoke spell checking manually, by clicking Spelling in the Records group of the Home tab of the ribbon, or by pressing F7.
Best wishes,
