It is a single form and this seems to work very well except that when I enter a new record, the day is not displayed until return to that record. Is there a way to 'refresh' the record? Sort of like doing another OnCurrent event without actually leaving and returning to the record? Of course, I can see the day in the calendar control.

Just a shot in the dark here - your Access version indicates that you have the same version as I, but what does your Office version say? Mine says SP2 MSO (12.0.6521.5000) under Access Options/Resources/about Microsoft Access 2007.

Do you have a separate calendar control, or do you mean the new popup calendar that comes with Access 2007?
Best wishes,

Hans - it is the Access 2007 calendar control - I didn't realize there was any other.

Access 2007 by default displays a small calendar icon to the right of text boxes bound to date/time fields. Clicking the icon causes a calendar to pop up:

But I would have thought that the After Update event procedure that you posted earlier would update the Text105 text box immediately, I don't understand why it doesn't for you...

It does. I deleted that code fearing it might interfere with the OnCurrent event. I put it back in and all is well.

You can use both - they will never "fire" at the same time, so there's no danger of interference.

Looks like you are fully patched - the early versions of 2007 did some weird things. Like I said, it was a shot in the dark. And I take your last post means you have solved the issue???
