Guys
I run a report in Access which has a subreport linked.
On certain occasions, I get duplicate results, it seems to be related to what data I enter on the main form.
If I enter a date, cost and retail figure, the report runs ok but on the same form I enter a description the report duplicates everything on the main and sub of the report??
Without going into great detail, where do I start looking to rectify this?

Re: Duplicates on report
Make sure that the record source of the main report does not include the records of the subreport.
Best wishes,
Hans

Re: Duplicates on report
Main Report: qryPartsAudit
Sub Report: PARTS CREDIT ( this is a really old database, one of my first from years ago, before I understood naming convention)
The problem doesn't make sense at all !!
I've stripped out loads and attached a basic version.
If you run and preview the report you can see the main items are duplicated.
If you go back into the form and remove data from the Description fields but leave the monetry values, the report doesn't duplicate the data ??
Any chance you can have a look?
Regards..

Re: Duplicates on report
Open qryPARTSAUDIT in design view.
Remove the last two columns (DESCRIPTION and REASON FOR RETURN) from the query. They cause the multiplication, and they're not needed here.
