Hi, I'm struggling with highlighting cells where the date is on a Saturday.
Probably using WEEKDAY
I did try searching but no joy.
Any ideas?
Cheers

Re: Conditional formatting - if date = Saturday
Let's say the dates you want to format are in D2:D100.
Select this range.
D2 (the first cell) should be the active cell in the selection.
On the Home tab of the ribbon, click Conditional Formatting > New Rule...
Select 'Use a formula to determine which cells to format'.
Enter the formula
=WEEKDAY(D2)=7
Click Format...
Activate the Fill tab.
Select a highlight color.
Click OK, then click OK again.
