Hello team,
I have been working with an Excel workbook. I have two copies of the same workbook open. workbook1 and workbook2. I need to select from four dropdowns to show the result in the box and then I get this message: Excel ran out of resources and can't calculate one or more formulas.
I closed the second copy and the message becomes less. Do you think what the problem is?
Regards,
Bita

There are lots of suggestions in this stack overflow thread
One easy thing to try is to go to Excel > File > Options > Advanced, scroll down to the Formulas heading and clear "Enable multi-threaded calculation"

Hi StuartR,
Thanks for the response. Won’t that affect my formulas in the workbook?
Please advise me.

That will not impact any formula, but Excel may run a little bit slower, I doubt you would notice the difference

Hi StuartR,
Thanks for the response. I didn’t see that message but I didn’t test drop downs in workbook a lot. I hope the problem is resolved!
Thanks
