Hi,
I have never seen this before, but I was asked recently if there is a way to have Excel hi-lite the selected cell by shading the cross reference of the column and row with a colour. Excel already hi-lites the column and row selector in orange based on the cell selected, but can that be extended into the column and row so that the cell is easily identifiable?
Never seen it before, but maybe someone knows of an add-in that can do this??

Hi Rudi
Welcome Home
I have somewhere a workbook that demonstrates a kind of cross hair set up that shows where you are on a sheet, until I find that could this be useful? http://www.vbaexpress.com/kb/getarticle.php?kb_id=145" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Editted to add:
Found it, it is Chip Pearsons web site http://www.cpearson.com/Excel/RowLiner.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Before installing and using the RowLiner add-in, please read the Known Issues section at the bottom of the article.
Best wishes,
Hans

Hans; for the warning! (Rather safe than sorry)
Jan Karel; This is a very interesting technique...using those arrows to indicate the current cell position. Thank you for that input. Very smart!!!
