Removing horizontal line

Post by Egg 'n' Bacon »

Hi, I have been handed a document that has had some horizontal lines inserted, my problem is; how to get rid of them.

NB these are within table cells.

Forgive me if I've misunderstood;
1. If the line has been produce using the Drawing toolbar, click on the line and press Delete. (top left cell)
2. The lines might have been drawn by selecting the underline attribute, adding a right tab in the cell and then using
Ctrl + Tab within the cell. In that case, the whole line has to be selected by dragging the cursor over the line before using delete. (bottom right cell)

Sorry, but I'm not sure how the line ahs been added.

Here's an excerpt. It looks like a 3 row table, but it is only a 2 row table.

Two kinds of borders have been applied:
- Top/Left/Bottom/Right borders around the cells of the table.

- Top/Left/Bottom/Right borders around the paragraph in the first cell, set to a distance of 7 points from the text.

The grey shading is, as you see in the second screenshot, paragraph shading.
