Header row for table

Post by agibsonsw »

Hello. Word 2007.

I have a merged title as the first row of a table and then a 'header row' - or what I want to be a header row. How can I tell it that one or both of these should be the header row(s), so that they repeat on following pages?

This feature seems to work with a simple, regular table by clicking Header row repeats?

If I create a table, merge the first row, select the first two rows, right click and select Table Properties then I can set "Repeat as header row... on the Row tab.

Can you describe your problem in a bit more detail.

Hi. I tried it with a simpler table and it worked okay. Perhaps some merged cells confused Word as it wan't repeating the header row(s) when the table fell onto a second page.

Thanks, Andy.
