Hello. Word 2007.
I was just curious if anyone knows how Word decides what to Undo when typing?
Sometimes it reverses a few letters, or words or a sentence. Is there some logic
to the decision making?

Re: Word Undo and typing
There are several factors: if you type a sentence in one go, Undo will erase the entire sentence, unless you're in Overtype mode, then undo will act letter by letter.
If you edit existing text, each edit action (inserting a word, typing a few letters, deleting a letter, etc.) will be one undo action.

Best wishes,
Hans

Re: Word Undo and typing
Thank you. I wondered if the speed of typing had an influence. Andy.
