Specific Add-Ins...

Hi

Is it possible to set up a specific add-in (my template) so that is 'loaded' for every Word document?

I notice that SnagIt Add-in.dot and PDFMCustom.dot is always loaded. I would like to add my own template as an add-in so that it is always loaded. Is that possible? BTW: My template is in the the 'User templates' folders.

Save the template (add-in) in your STARTUP folder for Word. Under Windows Vista or 7 this would be

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP

and under Windows XP

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP

AppData / Application Data is a hidden folder, so you must show hidden files and folders to see it.
