TOC

Post by jmt356 »

I have a document with a TOC where TOC 1 is showing up with no tab leader (TOC 2 and 3 have one). This is my code: {TOC \B TOC\O "1-2" \H \Z\T "LEVEL 3,3}. Is there a way to bring in that tab leader? I tried inserting a new TOC which had a Tab Leader selected to replace the old TOC, and when I inserted that TOC, I got tab leaders for all of the levels, but unfortunately, I lost all of the custom formatting I put into the TOC, so I undid and went back to the old one, which has no tab leader for TOC 1. Is there a way to change the code so I get tab leaders for all of the levels?

Click in a TOC 1 paragraph.
Select Format | Tabs...
There will be a right-aligned tab.
Select this tab in the list, then select a tab leader.
Click OK.

Alternatively, add the right-aligned tab with tab leader to the TOC 1 style.
Best wishes,
Hans
