Word changes paragraph style

Post by jmt356 »

Support I have two paragraphs, the first with Style A and the second with Style B. I have noticed that in my version of Word 2003, if I have a selection fo the first paragraph that runs into the second paragraph, and then I hit backspace or ctrl + x or start typing to replace the selected text wiht new text, the two paragraphs become merged into Style B. In Word 2007, they become merged wiht Style A.

Is this a function corresponding to the version of Word or is it something that can be configured manually? I want the attribute of Word 2007 to play on Word 2003.
Regards,

JMT

As far as I know there is no setting to configure this behavior.
Best wishes,
